I just wanted to take a few moments to honor today, October 15, Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. It is an important day for so many here on ShareYourStory because it nationally recognizes a loss that maybe many others have forgotten. We though know that the loss of a pregnancy, of an infant, of a child does not last a day...but many days after days, and years after years, a lifetime.
Many of the volunteers that I have worked with on this site, who maintain and manage it behind the scenes with me, are moms who have lost their children. They are often the voices tirelessly providing support to others at the begining of their journeys.
To them, and to all parents who are recognizing today, I just wanted you to know that I was thinking about you and your babies today and sending you hugs. You are all awesome mommies and daddies and I am so sorry for the circumstances that brought you here and into my life. You are very much loved.
I will light a candle for you and your angels tonight.
all of my very best,
from your community host,
Well said, James.
Thank you!!! Hugs back at you:) I LOVE MOD:)
*heart* you James!
Thank you...for thinking of us, for being here for us, for caring enough to do this every single day with us.
Thanks James! Your support through the years has given all of us a safe place to land.
James, I wish I could hug you.
Thank you so much for this post, for thinking of us, and for everything that you do.
Thank you so much James. Your support and understanding for those of us who have walked this path is incredible. My heart is a little less broken because of Share and that is a gift I can never repay.
We help moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies. And if something goes wrong, we offer information and comfort to families. We research the problems that threaten our babies and work on preventing them.
