I've Always Wanted to Be a Mom

Wow, that's a lot of white space! Your story should be here.

Why not write something now?

When I was a little girl, I always loved playing "store", "library",  and "school", but most importantly, "house". I've always wanted to be a mom and I would dream of how many children I would have and what their names would be. Now mind you, my sister and I used to pretend that we had, like, 6 kids each. That plan has since changed. 1 or 2 would be good I think!

After I got married, we figured we'd have a year of "just married, just the 2 of us time" and then we'd try for a baby. It ended up taking us almost a year before I got pregnant. We were just about to give it a break when I found out. We were overjoyed and so emotional! Cameron was born 4 days shy of his due date. I had always known throughout my pregnancy that he would be early. We had a few minor issues after his birth (he was jaundiced and having trouble breastfeeding). Luckily those were easy things to take care of, despite my exhaustion and crazy emotions during the first week.

Now he is almost 1 year old and we are riding this roller coaster through the joys and the frustrations of havng a baby at home (no one tells you how hard it can be at times!!!). But in all reality, you get through the hard stuff because you would do anything for this new little love of your life. Maybe someday Cameron will have a little brother or sister, but for now, he completes us <3
