My sweet baby girl
What a surprise you were

A joy we celebrated
A rare jewel like a pearl

Our first moments of shock
That grew into love

All new feelings of first time parents
So excited for you to come

I grew you in my womb
With the help of angels hands

Every discomfort I felt
Faded away as we made plans

We shared many memories
Every day was something new

You brought me such peace
Knowing we would see you soon

But our time was cut short
Something out of our control

I'll never understand why
It's not important to know 

My birth to you was an expression of love
I felt you move inside me as I prepared you for above

Your beauty was known the second you were born
Your spirit was so peaceful
Your suffering no more

You had the most shiny pink skin
You were so adored

You had a cute flat nose
With ten fingers and ten toes

The time we spent together will be cherished all my life
Forever I will live with your spirit inside
