On July 7 2020 I ended up having an emergency c section to deliver my 25.5 week baby. The hospital was unable to stop the delivery due to me being 10 cm dilated and her coming feet first. I never had labor pains to indicate something was wrong just blood and mucus. Our daughter has been transported 1.5 hours from where we live to stay in the nicu in Columbus, GA. I am having a hard time coping with the fact I can't bring my baby home and she is having to stay in the Nicu. Do to me not being able to currently travel due to the c section, my husband is the only one able to see and touch her. And the Ronald McDonald's house is closed due to covid-19. I am wondering how other mothers are dealing with the nicu stay and covid concerns.
