Our Walk today was great. We had a warm sunny day which was much deserved after the loooong cold winter we had. We had many friends and family join us for our walk and then afterwards we had a cookout at our house. Colin decided to send a balloon to his brother in heaven and I helped him write a message on it. Than around dinner the sky got very dark and the wind start blowing. We thought we were about to have a storm and Mike went outside to look. He yells for me to come out and we see a gorgeous rainbow in the sky. I knew instantly if was our gift from Scott. 10 minutes later the sun was back out the clouds gone along with the wind. it's like the wind picked up to get our attention to look outside. The rainbow was seen by everyone who walked even my brother who lives in the next state over. My friend had replied to my text with the rainbow that _Scott is saying, "thank you Mommy." How that touched my heart. I of course immediatly burst into tears because I do think that's what the rainbow represented. But it also gave me that longing of knowing that I will never here my son speak those words. I will never hear him say mommy or say I love. I remember the first time Colin said I love you to me and I will never get that chance with Scott
It looks like you all had a great walk day:) I love the rainbow pic and of course it has such profound meaning. No doubt that Scott was smiling down on all of you. So sweet that Colin sent a balloon to his angel bro and signed it himself:) Way to go Team Popcorn!
Sending you hugs,
Lindsay
I loved the balloon idea! Glad you had a great day with your friends and family and your walk was a success, in so many ways our angels let us know they are with us, and I am sure the rainbow was a nice way Scott telling you so.
Continue with your great work.
I'm glad you had a beautiful day and that Scott sent you a rainbow to let you know he was there! Many hugs to you!

What a beautiful day you had for the walk! I'm so so glad for you. What an incredible story about the wind/clouds, rainbow, and subsequent return of the sun! Scott was with you, indeed.
Lovely pictures - thanks for sharing!
