KIDS DON'T COME WITH INSTRUCTIONS, OR DO THEY?

  • It sounds like his teacher is going to be in tune with him and what his needs are, definitely a positive!  I hope that after his period of adjustment the school year will go smoothly for Mr. T and his speech and all other areas will improve!  Hooray for happy!

  • Lindsay,

You are doing such an amazing job at being an advocate for Tristyn and setting him up for success!

    Love the fist bump :)

Many, many good thoughts coming your way for a great school year!

    Love,

    Libby

  • So glad Tristyn is happy in his school... hope that being with other chatty kids helps him chat a little more.... You are doing an amazing job, and I know how hard it is to have a child little different, holding our breath every new experience, but I think he will do just fine.... keep positive, and give a chance to his new teacher... in one day is hard to evaluate all ...

  • Ok Tucker comes with directions, too :)

I know exactly what you mean!

So glad that he is doing well, and that he is happy. Tucker cries to go back to school everyday, he will start KG in a few weeks.

  • Oh how I love that you called his IEP instructions.  I feel the same way about Olivia.  She starts Kinderkids this year.  She'll arrived at orientation with instructions and tips for how to care for her unique issues too.

I really hope your school doesn't fight you on the aide issue.

    Thinking of you,
