So, if you're like me, you've received those Enfamil, Similac, or Nestle's Good Start coupons in the mail. It was hard when I got the first lot of them in early May around my original due date. It made me instantly sad and I did e-mail two of the companies to tell them to take me off of the distribution list and Enfamil responded within hours. So, they were really nice about it and were very sorry, etc. Now it's August, and I've still received coupons for the other formulas. I was about to throw them away and then, i decided to go on E-bay for some scrapbooking things. I went ahead and clicked on gift certificates and I was surprised to find that people actually bid on formula coupons. I guess, I had never thought of that. Well, I went onto Craig's List and there were a few people posting them as well. I noticed that one lady was seeking formula coupons and I thought, I have these and they came at no cost to me. And while I hate getting them, there are people who can really use them. I e-mailed her to see if she was interested and she responded right away. I sent them off this morning and I feel really good about that. It's so small, but if I can help someone, that makes it a little bit easier. There was another lady seeking a walker for her daughter. Of course, I have everything that one would need for a baby and while I'm not really ready to get rid of my baby's things, I don't mind letting go of this item. It's very used and so, it doesn't bother me. I am just trying to do what I can and it does feel good to help others. So, to all of you out there who curse those formula coupons as much as I do, maybe try to put them to good use for someone else. If not, it's totally okay to rip them up and cry too.
