at 2:12 am My little man will be 6 years old... Desite the rough week we had we all gathered around the table and sang Happy birthday and watched him blow out a few candles and tear open a few gifts.. HE WAS VERY SPOILED TODAY!! THinking back to 6 years ago today I was just induced and praying to GOD that he would be okay... telling the Dr "NO I HAVE 5 1/2" more weeks Im not ready... Well ready or not here he came! My little man entered this world Blue as a blueberry and fighting to breath.. 2 days later Charlie hit, I remember sleeping in the waiting room when my DH came in from a walk soaking wet, the windows in the hospital busting in.. it was a very overwhelming time! He was finally released after 7 day and we were to take our little man home, however we had no power... The first few days after busting out of the NICU were spent having a sleepover at Great Grandpa's house... a few weeks later another Hurricane was coming and my family put my 3 week old and I on an airplane to memphis, tn. Do before his EDD had approached he had lived through a 7 day NICU stay, 2 Hurricanes, an airplane ride, and a trip to GRACELAND.. LOL!! Now here he is turning 6 years old WOW!! After rereading this blog and the event over the past week, hell the past 6 years I do hate to say my life has been a little overwhelming... Do wish that Trinity and My stepdad could have been here today! I miss them both soo much and like to believe that Randy is up there taking care of my angel untill I can get there!
