This has been our 7th March For Babies Season and the busiest one yet!
Fundraising update: usually we are @ or around $500
Original personal goal:1000 Current numbers: $3480!!! WOW
Team Goal: 1500 Current Numbers: $3800 WOW!!!!
Map Goal was to fill turn the US purple: We have had donations from ALL of the 50 states!
My Director got called away the week of our walk. Her mom passed away unexpectedly so she was unable to be there. I got a call on Friday from her saying that Keith (from Orlando who I got the honor of lobbying with) was going to be there. And that he was told if he had any questions to ask me since he had never been to the site and I have helped Kelley for 7 years now. I was nervous as a lot of the people from the Orlando Chapter were going to be there and my goal has always been to represent MOD and SYS to the best of my ability and I did want to let Kelley down! Everything ran smooth until I had all 400 hot dogs donated and ready to go. My mom and step mom were running the registration table and my chef (from work) was there ready to cook. DH delivered the Water to the spirit station. AND THEN.... The storm hit. Just before we were ready to send everyone out! We waited 30 minutes and due the thunder and lightening we had to cancel the walk! I did however get my name in with some of the March of Dimes people as well as the head of the Womens Infant and Children's department at the Hospital. She has BIG plans for expanding our NICU and want to meet with me! Im super excited about this! It has always been a goal of mine to share the MOD and SYS at our local NICU and thats still on the top of my list!
I am beyond grateful for the family, friends and strangers that have donated to our team this year! This has by far been our best year yet! Im already pumped up for next year! Can't wait to see if we can hit a higher goal of $5,000!
Go Team Trinity! And really a testament to your amazing perseverance as a mommy and advocate!

that's so awesome! I know you must have been bummed that your walk was canceled. Mike and I are also going to start trying to get info about MOD and Share at the NICU were Scott was born. We have contact info and are going to start working on it. Good luck to you and that's just amazing all that you have done. You are an inspiration to us all. =)
Amazing Samantha! I know Trinity is smiling down on her mommy!

Wow, Sam - how amazing!! Congratulations on all your success this year! I know it must feel so good.
What a bummer that the walk didn't happen because of the rain! Mother Nature apparently didn't get the memo on this one.
Congratulations on all of the exciting things you have coming up.
