As I write this my little 34 weeker will turn 7 years old, 12 minutes from now. As I sit back and think of how far my little man has come and what all he has been through in his life. Jadon entered this world at 2:12 am 34 weeks before his due date, He entered this world completely blue and is respiratory duress. I still remember one of the nurse saying "well at least hes breathing" then remember that him breathing on his own didnt last. He was rushed to the NICU and it would be 8 hours before I would see my son again, and when I did see him he had tubes everywhere. I had never thought I would be walking out of the hospital only to be sleeping in the waiting room that night as we got pounded by a hurricane I remember sleeping in the waiting room down the hall and having the windows busting in, then to go to our car the next morning to find our back window busted in from the storm, his little carseat covered in glass. It was a scary time. Since then he has had many hospital stays due to asthma, lots of dr appointment, trips to the ER. Nonmedical he has lost his sister, whom he would have been an amaxing big brother to. I feel he got shorted big time in her loss. THis past year he lost two grandparents. Yet he always has a smile on his face and he loves his mommy so much. By the way he things Im awsome because I can beat Mario Galaxy!!! He is amazing and the light of my life. I dont know how I would have gotten through the last few years without him. His hugs make my bad days not so bad. His laugh is conagious, I love that he is still willing to snuggle up with me and watch a movie and I know that soon that will be uncool and he wont wake to anymore! Happy Birthday Jadon.
