  • Oh Sam....  I'm so sorry that your family had to say goodbye to an amazing man.  I know your hearts are breaking.  I also know the smiles that come with the thoughts of loved ones in heaven giving hugs to our little angels.  My prayers will continue for your family as you adjust to another new normal.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you and your family.

  • As I mentioned in my message to you, I've been through this recently too.  The best way we've found to get through it is through laughter.  We make jokes about the crazy things my MIL used to do and her "eccentric" habits.  And sometimes, I think she's paying us back for laughing at her by making things a little tougher on us (the number of times we've looked at the sky and yelled "Fine!  You happy now?!?" is amazing).  But we still laugh it off.  You've got to keep smiling through the tears.

  • Oh Samantha, I'm so sorry.  I find myself in tears and so thankful you shared your FIL with us.  I don't think I'll ever see baseball without thinking of him.

I've no doubt Trinity and he are together.

  • Warm hugs, Sam. I love your image of the game in heaven with Trinity. Keeping you and your family close in my thoughts.
