Samarella's Journal

rough few days

  • You have such an incredible outlook. I LOVE that when you think of her and get down you go do something positive to remember and provide comfort to someone else. That's truly inspirational. I am corry that tonight you find yourself missing Trinity desperately tonight. Hang in there. Thinking of you.

    Love, Kelly

  • Your post bought tears, you are an amazing mummy, your angel Trinity must be so proud...i agree with kelly you are an inspiration...i too would really like to help others, its a nice and positive way to keep our angels memorys thoughts are with you..hugs..chantelle..

  • Wow, I think that is a great way to focus your energy.  Sometimes helping others in our time of need can be very healing and I hope that is the way it turns out for you.

Thanks for reminding me about the preemie onesie drive - still have to get mine!

My husband donates blood frequently and as silly as it is, I am thrilled that he is CMV negative and his blood can go to preemies.  For some reason it makes me feel like he is doing something so personal to help out.

  • Wow Samantha I want to be like you when I grow up.  I wish I could have the outlook that you have.  I pray to one day be there, where thoughts of my most precious blessing give me strength and make me want to go out and be a better me.  I havent donated in years, but it is something I used to do all the time.

Kudos to you roomie!  Keep up the good work, see ya soon!

  • Sometimes you just need time to miss her and remember what a special little girl she was. It's okay to feel sad. I think that collecting preemie onesies is a great idea!

  • I can only imagine that days like these hit you out of the blue. I think it is an awesome thing that you want to do something positive in your daughter's honor! I really think that can help you and so many others, what a giving thing to do!

I am looking forward to meeting you in DC!

  • I think using the times that you're missing her most to do something awesome for others is a great idea.  We always want to teach our children to do things for others....  I can't wait to see you in DC!
