I think the whole grieving the loss of the pefect pregnancy should have been the Title of this weekend as I heard that exact phrase a million times even at the VLC part before SU started. This was the first time I attended the VLC part. I LOVED hearing Arnold Palmer speak. I know hes a big Golf Legend but for me I never really pay attention to golf. I know him because of his hospitals here in Florida. I know the work that has been done at those hospitals and the friends and Family that I know that have fought in those very hospital. The hospital I was suppose to deliver Trinity at but they were very full and their NICU didnt have an extra bed in case Trinity had made it and would have needed a bed. I also got to see Roosevelt grand daughter speak as well as Sherri Sheppard from The View. All along side of Mickey and Minnie, other Disney Characters and the Pink fairy God mother. p.s. Katie I love the picture you posted on Facebook! SHARE UNION started Friday night and I loved every moment of it. Friday we had our meet and greet and I got to see old friend and meet new people. Again it was like walking into a room of people I had know my whole life. The last 2 months have been a up and down roller-coaster and hugging those who had supported me through it all was very important this year. The Remembrance Ceremony was beautiful! After the first year I though "wow that was emotional next year it wont be as hard" I was sooo wrong. Its never easy to see how each of the people I love so dearly here have stuggled. Seeing my own kids up there and how far they have come and remembering Trinitys short life is only half of it. Seeing D'lon and Ansley, Akeelah, Hailey, Emilyn Nathan, Katarina, Tori and Mickey, Seeing Tristan and Gunners hands and feet prints. And sooo many others I have come to love their mommas as much as I love them. Seeing all the preemies and how far they have come. Seeing the children born with Birth defect who have fought so hard to be here, And knowing how hard their parents fought to keep them here and still fight! To see those of us who have had to say goodbye. Each child and Family touches my heart and deep down despite all our differences I know we all have one thing in common! THINGS DID NOT GO HOW WE HAD PLANNED!!! Saying Goodbye is always the hardest, but know you all are a few clicks away and that I will see you all in DC eases that. Thank you all for seeing me through the last 6 years as I struggled finding my new normal after my loss of Trinity. For supporting me this last year with the m/c and the early arrival of Jaxson. Thank you for loving me and for loving Jaxson this weekend. I dont think he would be here today without the support I have received over the last 6 years. I was so angry back then, never wanted to feel that pain again, never wanted to try again. I was to scared! Thank you to all those who made this weekend happen. For all the time and energy everyone put into it. I can only imagine how difficult it is to get almost 50ish people from all different parts of the country together in one city! THank you James for all you do and for trusting us enough to opening up to us. Thanks you Liza no matter what every time we talked I could see just how big of a heart you have, thank you for all you do for Share. THank you Judy for what you do at the March of Dimes and supporting SHARE! I know there is more I wanted to say but I am going to have to pick it up later!
