Ugh, I wish there was some quick advice I could give you that would iron all these issues out. Could you maybe contact your OB and find out if they know of any extra assistance that you could get? Or maybe of free clinics in your area until you can figure something out. Big hugs!
seee public aide is a mess..its like they want you to lie in order to receive benefits. well im wishing you the best of luck and i hope everything goes well
Oy, what a mess. Don't give up yet. Sometimes it's all a matter of having the right person on the other end of the line...
Try give your OB office a call, or even Planned Parenthood who can be a great free resource, and they'll know a lot about getting folks into the system, or pointing mommas in the direction of affordable care.
We're gonna figure this out!
I should also say, don't count the community clinics out just because of your status. I was talkin' to my hubby who works in the OR with Drs from the CC, and they're range of patients crosses the whole spectrum of risk.
Keep us posted!
I'm so sorry you're dealing with this! I had a very similar issue when I was pregnant with Avery! It was very stressful. In the end it did come down to getting the right people on my side to point me in the right direction. I'm sure every state is different...so keep making those calls and find out whatever you can. Insurance is a nightmare and the only thing worse is not having it when you need it!
