  • Samantha,

This is so beautiful.  You're right, ShareUnion is that place where moms converge who just know how the other is feeling and thinking.  Those of who have changed through the birth of a special needs child or who are and will always grieve that  child who is no longer here get it.  WE get that you'll never be the woman you once were.

And it's okay that you've changed.

I know that people in 'real' life often want to sweep the hard stuff under the rug and pretend it didn't happen.

We can't let them do that.  Not to us, and not to our children.

    Thinking of you always,

    Tommie

  • I love this post. Although we don't have the same situation, I feel like any time I talk about my daughter and her "issues" it'll bring someone else down. I even have a hard time talking to my hubby about it, just because he never seems like he wants to talk about it.

It's so nice to have a place we can go to talk to those who understand, who don't need an explaination of WHAT you're going through.

I love having this site to run to!
