Please no one on my Facebook take this the wrong way...
As I scroll through Facebook, I see many of my friends daughters all dressed up in princess dresses. Sometimes its them in homecoming or prom dresses, dressed for father daughter dances, girl scouts, dance recitals.... sometimes its just watching them them grow through the years in their photos. Watching them achieve milestones that just brings tears to my eyes. I'm never gonna do that...
Today, a very dear friend (non-share) posted a picture of her daughter in a Beauty in the Beast dressed with the caption "No preschool = dress up day" I couldn't help but fall apart. I love her and her sweet girl very much but today I just wanted to erase the image out of my head or maybe just pretend for a second it was Trinity all decked out in Princess attire ready to twirl around the living room.
These are the moments that are hard for me. I truly love my boys with every ounce of my being! But I sure to miss my baby girl. I miss those moments of mother-daughter chats, I had with my mom. I will miss out on shopping for the perfect father daughter dance dress, prom/homecoming dresses, and a wedding dress one day....
and sometimes it just hurts deeply...
Sometimes there just aren't any words. Many many hugs my friend.
No words... only (((Hugs)))
Please never apologize to us for sharing your feelings. Even if we are Facebook friends, this is your safe place, the place where you don't have to say you're sorry for missing your daughter. We understand, we love you and we all wish we could bring Trinity back to you, give you those moments you miss so, so much.
Lots of love to you,
I have the same feeling when I see three year old girls dressed up in cute little outfits. Hugs, lots and lots of hugs Love.
Thank you ladies... So glad I have a place where I can put my feelings out there! Like I have said many times over the "should-have-beens" are always the hardest!
