I am a fifty-year-old man who has been living with MGJWS since birth. Strangely, I only learned the actual name "Marcus Gunn Jaw Winking Syndrome"  yesterday. Previously, I was told that the twitch in my right eye that occurs when I move my jaw in a forward motion was due to Bell's Palsy. Yesterday, while having my annual optical examination, a new optician informed me of MGJWS. Who knew?

I was also not aware that others have the same phenomenon. When I went on YouTube, I was astounded at the number of videos of people who have MGJWS just like me. At fifty-years-old, this is quite a revelation for me.
