My baby with RSV

My daughter who was born at 36 week, lil Jasmine"Jaz"; when she was five months old, she was hospialized because she had RSV and she stayed for two weeks in the NICU. As a matter of fact she been in the hospital twice in the same monthe for RSV. It was so sad to see her all covered up with plastic and they had her like that so she can breath and she was gettting up drafts every four hours and she still have to get them. We almost lost her the first time she went in. I think this is something that premature babies can get, but I was so scare and so sad because I could not hold her and I only can touch her with a plastic glove. She had an x ray done in Little Rock at the Children's Hospital and they told me she still have some on her lungs; they said RSV is hard to get rid of. She is 16 months old and she is trying to walk, will you please pray for her! thank you so much!

  • I'm so sorry to hear that your sweet girl is still fighting the results of two bouts with RSV. It's horrible, and does affect these kiddos lungs for a long time.

I hope she's feeling better soon.
    Take care,
