Hi everyone!
It's almost time for March For Babies. Tell us about your team! What is your team's name? Who do you walk to honor? Where do you walk? What fundraising ideas do you use? Feel free to add anything else you'd like to share!
We are Team Bellow/Garfin (the very unoriginal combination of my last name and my sister's last name, but since this will be our 7th March for Babies(!), I just can't change the name). We walk in honor of our preemies Hunter (26 weeker, surviving twin) and my nephew Luke (33 weeker), in memory of our Randi (26 weeker, Hunter's angel twin sister) and in honor of our full termers too. We walk in East Meadow, NY. We mostly fundraise using email but I am going to see if work will let me do a blue jeans for babies this year too.

Our Team Name: Arianna's Army
We started our team after our daughter Arianna Elaine was born at 23 weeks gestation and lived for just 27 minutes.
We walk not just in memory of Arianna but also in honor of my surviving 29 weeker, my full term princess and my 36 week miracle who I spent 23 weeks on bed rest with and received 17p injections with and spent multiple nights in the hospital in pre term labor.
We walk in Lafayette, IN
In the past we have done a few different fundraisers and campaigns for our March for Babies team. We have also gotten corporate sponsorship from my husband employer and are looking forward to having that again this year.
Our Team Name: Team J.D. Womack.
We walk in honor of my son J.D. Womack, he was born at 27 weeks.
We walk in Dothan, AL. The fundraising ideas I use is: I sometimes use my moms social media and I text people and through my husband work.
But this year I am having a harder time with raising money for the march of dimes. :(

In reply to CharlieAllene's mom:
I love how Charlie is your team captain!
My team is Team Charlie Allene. Our team captain is my former twenty six weeker Charlie.
We walk in the Northern Shenandoah Valley walk. Our walk is not until September this year.
However, I will be walking with Team Popcorn in their walk soon. (Nicki bribed me with double chocolate popcorn.) I couldn't be more excited to walk with Team Popcorn... ok, and about the double chocolate popcorn.
I look forward to borrowing all of your awesome fundraising ideas for my team's walk in September. :)

Team Name: Team Popcorn
We walk in memory of my son Scott who died at 2 weeks old.
We came up with our team name in honor of Scott's nickname he was given by his brother when I was pregnant with him. His brother called him Baby Popcorn and soon the whole family was since we weren't sharing the name.
We walk in Baltimore, Md.
For our fundraising we are having our 2nd annual popcorn sale! It only seemed fitting to sale popcorn when your team name has the word popcorn it it! We did really well last year and hope to do even better this year.
We also like to get my son involved in fundraising. So this year he is, Poppin' Across the U.S. for Team Popcorn. He and I came up with a letter to mail and he handwrote it himself. Than I made copies and we are mailing them to people we know in different states. Colin colors the states yellow on a map as he gets donations. He is hoping he gets all 50 states!. It is really cool seeing him get excited when we get a state and seeing him do something in memory of his brother. So far he has 3 states with 47 more to go!
Team Name: Team Tiny Feet
We walk in honor of our twin girls born at 25 weeks, our youngest son born at 36 weeks after 17P injections and 13 weeks of full bed rest, and our only full-term and equally miraculous first born son, born at 38 weeks.
We walk in DuPage County, Napervillle, IL as part of the Chicago Chapter
We are putting together our first ever fundraiser at a local comedy club. I also use social media, and email as my biggest fundraising tool.
