Hello, I am PFC Jackson of the United States Army. I am currently pregnant and due in September. I am having a little girl and this will be my first child. Being 20 years old, and a young growing mother to be; I worried about many of the things I did not think I would be able to afford due to my low income at my civilian job. The Family Readiness Group coordinator at my unit sent me an email regarding the baby shower that March Of Dimes was going to be having at the beginning of June. I became interested and went. As I was there, I felt like apart of a community. All of the mothers to be were so sweet and loving. I didn't expect to receive all of the wonderful gifts that they gave to all of the mothers. But I am grateful. Being so my boyfriend and I are young first parents, it's really hard to just adjust to the life of a baby being on the way. I am so appreciative for the things I have now.
This fondation is honestly a gift from above.
Hello and welcome to Share! Congratulations on your pregnancy! I'm so glad that you had the opportunity to go to that baby shower, I've heard how amazing they are! It's so nice that you're able to relax more and not worry as much. I look forward to hearing more from you!

Hi @Kjackson1014 so glad you were able to join one of our showers. How are you doing with your new little girl? Would love to see pictures or hear from you as a first time military momma. Any tips or questions to share with the group?
